LTP4

Oxfordshire County Council has published a comprehensive draft strategic transport plan for the county, known as LTP4 (LTP = Local Transport Plan).

The strategic plan is out for public consultation. It is too complex to be summarised here, but headline proposals are the creation of bus rapid transit (BRT) routes in Oxford, ‘super’ and ‘premium’ cycle routes, a Science Transit connecting the City, the outer Science Parks and Didcot/Harwell, and opening the rail line to Cowley.

The consultation closes on 2 April. You can download all the documents from the County’s website. We will be posting as many responses as possible here – more on this later.
